识别类关系过程的拓扑学研究

A Topological Perspective on Identifying Processes

在系统功能语言学框架下,识别类关系过程拓扑学视角是一个崭新却值得探索的领域,拓扑学和类型学作为互补视角能更全面地展示识别类关系过程的特点。本文考察了以识别类关系过程——归属类关系过程、识别类关系过程——物质过程、以及识别类关系过程——言语过程为代表的三个渐变群的中间案例。结果发现,这三类中间案例分别受第二参与者的确定性、过程的对等性和时态、以及第一参与者的意识形态影响。采用拓扑学视角可以了解识别类关系过程与其它类型过程(归属类关系过程、物质过程、言语过程、心理过程和存在过程)的关联,有利于建立更完善的识别类关系过程体系,加深对及物系统的理解。

In the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics,a topological perspective on identifying processes is brand newbut worth exploring,because the typological perspective and topological perspective as complementary perspectives may showa complete picture of the characteristics of identifying processes. By examining the intermediate cases on the identifying processes-attributive processes cline,identifying processes-material processes cline,and identifying processes-verbal processes cline,this study finds that the intermediate cases on the three clines are influenced by the definiteness of the second participant,the equativeness and tense of the process and the consciousness of the first participant respectively. Taking a topological perspective will make explicit the relevance between identifying processes and other processes types such as attributive,material,verbal,mental and existential,so as to establish a comparatively comprehensive system of identifying processes and deepen the understanding of the transitivity system.
