New explanation of house of intelligence

从天象入手,通过中医学象思维思辨方法,结合天人相应的理念,对"精明之府"进行了新的探讨,分析了精明的内涵,阐释了《内经》对脑的认识,指出精明之府实指头面感觉,是一种功能象,并非特定的解剖形态,是与自然天象相对应的人体之象。通过新的视角分析中医学经典问题,对梳理中医理论脉络具有重要的意义。

House of intelligence（ Chinese： 精明之府）,a TCM term,whose denotative meaning and connotative meaning are discussed and analyzed in this paper,based on xiang（ image） thinking methods combinaed with the concept of correspondence between nature and universe. After interpretation of ＂ The head is house of intelligence＂ in Inner Canon of Huangdi,this paper points out that house of intelligence should be an exact head and facial sensation which is an image of function not a specific anatomical structure. In a word,house of intelligence is an image of human body correspondence to the images of nature and universe. The paper analyzed a classical issue from a new perspective,which is important for better understanding of TCM theories.
