An Analysis of Incorporating the National Joint Postgraduate Admission Examination for Incumbents into the National Postgraduate Admission Examination

开展10余年的在职人员攻读硕士专业学位全国联考将纳入全国硕士研究生招生统一考试。本文探讨政策出台的背景,提出考试招生制度改革应着眼于服务社会需求、促进教育公平公正,探讨改革后考试的形式和内容以及录取原则等问题,同时对高等院校如何适应改革提出建议。

The National Joint Postgraduate Admission Examination for Incumbents, which has been in effect for longer than ten years, is to be incorporated into the National Postgraduate Admission Examination. Given the specific context of the new policy, this paper suggests that the assessment and admission reform should place special emphasis on meeting social demands and promoting educational fairness and equity. In the meantime, following an analysis of the form and content of the reformed examination and corresponding admission principles, suggestions are offered as to what strategies colleges should take so as to adapt to the reform.
