A metal framework with individual crowns has distinctive advantages as a new technique for implant？supported fixed prosthesis of edentulous jaws. This clinical report presented one case of the implantsupported fixed rehabilitation for upper and lower edentulous jaws with severe alveolar ridge absorption using this technique, which acquired satisfactory effects. The technique of a metal framework with individual crowns is able to solve the problems of severe alveolar ridge absorption and screw access holes exposed on lipbuccal sides, possessing both functions and esthetics.
