花卉新品种紫嫣郁金的引种选育

Introducing and Breeding of New Variety Curcuma inodora Ziyan

[目的]培育适合华南地区自然条件下栽培的花卉新品种。[方法]2007年12月从泰国引进粉苞郁金,随后进行适应性栽培、种苗繁殖和选育。[结果]引种驯化所得的新品种紫嫣郁金性状稳定,该品种于2015年8月通过了广东省农作物新品种审定(粤审花2015029)。[结论]紫嫣郁金是一个适合于华南地区栽培的花卉新品种,与对照品种粤引红火炬郁金相比,其耐热性较强、株型更紧凑,产花量更高,整株观花期更长。

[Objective] The aim was to breed the good new flower variety under natural conditions of South China.[Method] C.inodora Blatt was introduced from Thailand in December 2007, whereafter, the adaptability cultivation, seedling propagation and breeding in many years was executed.[ Result ] New variety C.inodora Ziyan showed steady characteristics, and was approved as a new variety （ Yueshenhua 2015029） by Agriculture Department of Guangdong Province.[ Conclusion] C.inodora Ziyan is a new flower variety suitable for planting in South China.Compared with C.petiolata Red Torch, it has stronger heat resistance, compact plant type, higher flowering yield and longer flower watch stage.
