On Protection and Exploitation of Canal Cultural Heritage in Xuzhou

徐州段运河历史悠久,运河文化遗产内容丰富,这些类型多样、特色鲜明的运河文化遗产,凝结了劳动人民的创造智慧,具有很高的历史、科学和艺术价值。随着中国大运河成功申遗,运河文化遗产的保护与开发逐渐引起社会各界的重视。虽然徐州在运河文化遗产保护方面取得了一定的成绩,但仍存在保护意识薄弱、保护机制不健全、保护开发不科学等问题。针对这些问题,相关部门要加强宣传推介、完善保护机制,坚持"科学开发、合理利用"的方针,努力发挥运河文化遗产的历史文化和社会经济价值,为推动地方经济建设、文化发展和社会进步做出重要贡献。

With a long history and diverse and distinctive cultural heritage,canals in Xuzhou demonstrate the intelligence of working people and show their high historical,scientific and artistic value as well. The protection and exploitation of canal culture has attracted attention from all sectors of the community because of the successful application of world heritage. Although some achievements in the protection of the canal cultural heritage have been made in Xuzhou,there are still various problems such as weak awareness of protection,unsound protection mechanism,and unscientific exploitation and protection. The relevant departments should strengthen publicity and promotion,improve the protection mechanism,adhere to the ＂ scientific exploitation,rational utilization＂ approach,and take full advantage of historical,cultural and socio-economy value of canals heritage to promote local economic construction,cultural development and social progress.
