论穆藕初对泰罗《科学管理原理》的解读

On Mu Ouchu's Interpretation of Principles of Scientific Management by Frederick Taylor

1916年穆藕初将科学管理之父弗雷德里克·泰罗的《科学管理原理》译成中文出版,从而成为把《科学管理原理》译成中文的第一位中国人。此后,他结合自己的实践不仅强调了科学管理的重要性,还与众不同地提出了科学管理主要是学理上的管理法,在一定的条件和范围内使用,才会收到应有的效果。他既指出了科学管理的边界问题,也指出了科学管理如何中国化的问题。这也是目前中国管理学发展亟待解决的问题。重读一百年前穆藕初的译著,虽然语言上与今天有很大差异,但是,穆藕初对原著独到深刻的解读,对今天中国管理学的发展依然具有重要的启示意义。

Mu Ouchu translated Principles of Scientific Management written by Frederick Taylor into Chinese in 1916, which distinguished himself as the first Chinese man to do the job.Hence,combining his practice,he not only highlighted the importance of scientific management,but also proposed distinctively that scientific management is primarily the man-agement method in theory,whose due effect can be realized under certain conditions and scope.He stressed the boundary problems and sinicization of the scientific management,which is to be settled urgently at present.It is extremely instruc-tive to read again the translated version and perceive Mu Ouchu＇s unique and profound interpretation of the original book.
