当前高校体育教育内容目标比较片面,都是以追求休闲娱乐活动为目标,反而忽略了学生在道德品质以及体育精神方面的培育与提高,严重制约了学生在思想道德精神方面的发展。德育教育能促进高校体育的进步和发展,加强当前大学生思想道德建设,可以实现"增强学生体质,促进学生身心的和谐发展,培养学生体育能力和良好思想道德品质,使其成为具有21世纪现代精神的德、智、体、美、全面发展的社会主义建设者"的体育教育目标,少年强则国家强,因此,高校体育教育不但要加强学生的体育锻炼,更要注重学生的德育教育。
