Research Progress on Hand,Foot and Mouth Disease Caused by Coxsackievirus A6

近年来由柯萨奇病毒A6(CVA6)导致的手足口病在欧洲、北美和亚洲多个国家暴发流行,已快速上升为手足口病的主要致病原。临床症状显示,CVA6导致的手足口病患者表现为多部位的出疹甚至脱甲,成人感染和重症病例也有较多报道。分子流行病学显示,近年来流行的CVA6为新型变异株与其他型别的肠道病毒存在重组,可能是导致临床症状改变的潜在原因。

In recent years, outbreaks of hand, foot and mouth disease （ HFMD ） were found caused by coxsackievirus A6 （CVA6） in European, North American and Asian countries. CVA6 has become a main pathogen of HFMD. Clinical symptoms showed that many patients infected with CVA6 suffered from skin rashes on multiple sites and even onychomadesis, Aduh infection and severe cases were also reported. Molecular epidemiological evidence showed that the prevalent CVA6 in recent years was new variant and recombined with other enterovirus types, which may be the underlying cause of the changes of clinical symptoms.
