大学英语教学中培养学生跨文化能力对策

Strategies on Cultivating Students' Intercultural Capability in College English Teaching

大学英语教学的目标是教授学生专业知识和专业技能,但是,文化的学习才是最高目标,因此,大学教育中培养学生的跨文化能力就变得格外重要。首先,大学英语教师除了应该具有扎实的专业知识之外,还要具备较强的跨文化交际敏感度和跨文化交际能力。其次,对大学英语教学大纲及课程设置进行改革,在外语教学中培养大学生的跨文化交际能力。第三点,大学英语教师在教学中需以教材为基础,以学生为主体,加入与教学内容密切相关的文化知识,实现课堂文化导入。最后,开展丰富多彩的与跨文化相关的活动,培养学生的跨文化意识和跨文化交际能力。

The aim of college English teaching is to cultivate students＇ intercultural communicating capability and enable them to communicate in English. First of all, college English teachers must have deep language essentials of basic training and intercultural communicating capability. Second, they must perform reforms in college English syllabus and courses so as to cultivate intercultural communicating skills in foreign language teaching. Third, college English teachers are supposed to insert contents related to different cultures based on the textbooks. Last, they must design a variety of extracurricular activities concerning culture in order to set up intercultural atmosphere and enhance intercultural communicating capability.
