Application of Krashen's Second Language Acquisition Theories in Professional English Teaching

在专业英语教学中,传统的"语法-翻译法"能有效提高学生的翻译能力,但不能全面改善学生的英语应用能力,难以形成活跃的课堂教学氛围。本文通过对克拉申语言理论的思考,提出从"可理解的输入"和降低"情感过滤"入手,以简化输入信息,降低输入信息的难度作为总体思路,从教学内容、教学方式和输出形式三个方面探索了相应的策略。

In the professional English teaching, the traditional ＂Grammar - Translation Method＂ can effectively boost students＇ translation ability, but cannot improve students＇ English application ability comprehensively, and shape vibrant classroom atmosphere. Through understanding and thinking about Krashen language theory, this paper points out a general approach. This approach suggests the starting from comprehensible input and reducing affective filter, the professional English teaching should simplify the input information and make them easy to understand. In the end, this paper makes an exploration on the corresponding strategies for professional English teaching in teaching content, teaching methods and output forms.
