The image of the college PE teachers exerts a great influence on the PE teaching process. As the emergence of the new media era which is popular among students, the image building has been confronted with new challenges. From the angles of the teaching advantages of the new media, the definition of PE teachers＇ image, and the practical effect of the new image building, this paper illustrates the necessity of the image building of college PE teachers in the new media era, and proposes detailed building policies.
