Textual Research and Discuss on the Mengfang Library of Southeast University

东南大学孟芳图书馆曾是20世纪20年代国内著名图书馆,为江苏督军齐燮元独资捐建,其藏书及藏书购置费用亦多为齐氏劝募。但云烟倏忽,存在时间极短,并且成为东南大学易长风波的原因之一。这在图书馆捐赠史上是一个值得研究的重要案例,对于今天的图书馆发展仍有较大借鉴意义。

Mengfang library of Southeast University was a domestic famous library in 1920s,which was donated by Qi Xieyuan of Jiangsu military governor. The books in the library were donated by and paid by Qi Xieyuan. But the existence time of the library was very short and evolved into one of the cause of changing headmaster in Southeast University. It’ s worth studying for the important case in donation history of library and use for reference in today’ s library development.
