晚清是我国译介美国图书馆的肇始期。美国图书馆藏书、经费与捐赠、服务与教育、图书馆类型与管理、图书馆协会与法律、图书馆学家与研究成果,为这一时期译介的主要内容,对国人观念的转变和图书馆工作产生了重要影响,有助于我们更加全面了解美国图书馆早期在华接受史。

The late Qing Dynasty was the starting period of Chinese translation and introduction of American librar-ies. American library collections,funds and donations,service and education,the types of libraries,library associa-tion and law,library scientists and achievements were the main contents of translation and introduction at that time. It had an important influence on the change of the concept of the people and the library work. It also helped us to understand the early history of the American Library in China.
