当代私家藏书的研究长期处于边缘化状态。当代私家藏书是中国藏书文化的一部分,是公共图书馆的重要补充。当代私家藏书的归宿大致包括捐赠公共图书馆、寄存公共图书馆、转让充实公共馆藏、转制成社区家庭图书馆、公共图书馆与私家藏书共建共享等五个选择途径。

The research of the contemporary private book collection is in the state of marginalization for a long time. The contemporary private collection is a part of the Chinese library collection culture,and it is an important supple-ment of the public library. The fate of contemporary private library generally includes five choices：donated to the public library,transferred to enrich public library and transformed into family and community libraries,building sha-ring system between public libraries and private collections.
