摘要
通过对美国加州大学欧文分校和中国普通工科高校(以常州大学为例)"机械原理"课程教学实施细节的比较,探讨了中美大学本科教育在师生角色定位、教学方式和考核方式方面的差异,分析了形成这种差异的原因。提出中国高校的本科教育可以借鉴美国大学本科教育的理念,以学生为中心营造良好课堂氛围,注重学生能力的培养,并采用多元化的考核方式。希望对中国大学课程的改革有所启示、帮助。
Comparing the teaching of the course " theory of machines and mechanisms" between University of California, Irvine and Chinese General Engineering College (taking Changzhou University as an example) , it in- vestigates the differences in the teacher - student role orientation, teaching approaches and evaluation methods between China and the United States, analyzes the causes for the differences, and proposes that the undergradu- ate education of China should be student - centered, create a good classroom atmosphere, focus on cultivating students'ability, and take diversified assessment methods. It describes the undergraduate education ideas of A- merican universities into China, and presents some helpful inspirations of curriculum reforms.
