Combining the teaching of course Engineering Geodesy and education training for excellence Engineers on Surveying and Mapping,based on the textbooks edited by Professor Zhang Zhenglu,especially the new edition ＂Engineering Geodesy＂and＂Concise Engineering Geodesy＂,this paper discusses its contents and characteristics in detail,which have certain reference significance to the teaching and textbook selection of Engineering Geodesy course.
