摘要
尽管现行的教师评价标准在受到不断的讨论和改进,但它们没能涵盖各不同学科的特点,而大学英语教师在这样的标准下,可用"挣扎"来形容他们的职业生活。教师评价标准往往由教学管理者制定,他们当中多人不是一线教师,评价结果并不能体现教师的亲身感受,特别是非重点高校非英语专业老师,他们的职业生存状态并不乐观。文章通过个案的研究,对现行的教师评价标准的检验提出质疑,评价体系改革值得更深入的思考。
Having been discussed and improved a lot, the current teacher evaluation standards couldn't cover subjects of different features, under which the university English teachers are struggling to survive their occupational life. These standards, usually ruled by leaders of teaching faculty most of whom are not front line teachers, can't refleet teachers" personal feeling, especially for those teachers of non-English majors in the non-key universities, which do not offer them a promising future. This paper questions the examination of current teacher evaluation standards, the reform of which needs second thought.
