Microwave Heating Leaching to Extract Titanium from Ilmenite

摘要 以钛铁矿和硫酸铵为主要原料,通过熔融反应法使钛铁矿中的钛转化成易溶于稀硫酸的硫酸氧钛,利用煅烧产生的氨气和水解产生的废酸生成硫酸铵,可循环使用。本试验主要是用微波浸出法替代工艺中的水浴浸出,采用单因素试验和正交试验考察微波功率、微波时间、浸出温度、硫酸浓度对钛浸出的影响。结果表明,在矿物粒度-0.053mm、微波功率4kW、浸出时间5h、硫酸浓度30%、浸出温度70℃的条件下,钛浸出率达到了96.99%,最终产品钛白粉中金红石型二氧化钛结晶度达到70.75%。 Titanium in ilmenite was transformed to titanyl sulfate soluble in dilute sulfuric acid by melting reaction applying ilmenite and ammonium sulfate as main raw materials. Ammonium sulfate can be generated by ammonia gas from calcination and spent acid hydrolysis from hydrolysis. In this article, microwave leaching was substituted to water leaching. Effects of microwave power, microwave time, leaching temperature, and concentration of sulfuric acid on titanium leaching rate were investigated by single factor test and orthogonal test respectively. The results show that titanium leaching rate is 96.99% and rutile of final products titanium dioxide crystalline is 70.75% under the optimum conditions include particle size of -0. 053 mm, microwave power of 4 kW, microwave time of 5 h, concentration of sulfuric acid of 30%, and leaching temperature of 70℃.
