Developing students＇ key competencies is the main and difficult point for the reform and development of basic education at home and abroad. High-quality and efficient classroom teaching is the most effective method to cultivate students＇ key competencies. To design high-quality and efficient classroom teaching for developing students＇ key competencies, which needs to master the connotation of key eompeteneies, make its relationship with classroom teaching clear, and understand the connotation of high-quality and efficient classroom teaching. Besides, when implementing classroom teaching, attention should be paid to the following three aspects： accurately setting teaching objectives, actually promoting the effects of teaching, and optimizing teaching efficiency.
