The definition and standard of ＂low temperature and low stress condition＂ encountered in the design of cryogenic vessel were analyzed, and the effects of low temperature environment in cold area on the perfonnance of the vacuum cryogenic liquid tank outside the container material were elaborated, and how to choose the design temperature, the stress calculation of the outer container and the determination method of the low stress condition at low temperature were introduced.
