普利策小说奖百年(1917～2016)研究的现状与反思

普利策小说奖至今已有百年历史,是美国最悠久和最著名的文学奖项之一,它的评选既与美国主流文学和社会现实密切相关,同时又有别于大众观点而一贯秉持其独立的个性,彰显了美国文化和价值观的特点。当前学界对普利策小说奖已经有所关注,但对普利策小说奖设立后百年来变迁的纵向研究和以普利策小说奖为背景对美国社会精神进行整体观照的横向研究均需进一步深入,其文学价值和文化价值亦需进一步凸显。

As one of the most famous literary awards in America,Pulitzer Prize for Fiction has passed through 100 years.It is closely related to the mainstream of American literature and American social culture,but it always upholds its own characteristics and shows different opinion from the public fo-cus.The study of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction has been focused in the current academic circles.How-ever,not only the longitudinal study about its evolution since its being set,but also the cross-sectional study about the spirits shown in the winners of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction are both needed to be fo-cused and studied further.And its literary and cultural values also need to be highlighted.
