翟青云对《景岳全书》中阴阳互根理论体会尤精,深明"善补阳者,必于阴中求阳,则阳得阴助,而生化无穷;善补阴者,必于阳中求阴,则阴得阳升,而泉源不竭"其旨,擅用左归饮、右归饮、桂附地黄汤加减来治疗各类疾病,认为"治虚必先培根本"。翟青云出身贫苦,未曾入私塾读书,但他勤学好问,精研医学,博览医书,终成一代名医。翟青云悬壶豫东40余年,活人无算,济世利民,医德高尚。从治病救人到著书立说,他为当地百姓和中医传承奉献了毕生心血与精力。他实事求是的治学态度、大医精诚之心、济世利民之举,值得我们学习。

Zhai Qingyun has deep understanding of the theory of interdependence between yin and yang and the main idea of ＂ doctors good at tonifying yang will certainly seek yang from yin. He experts in using Left-Restoring Decoction,Right-Restoring Decoction and Modified Guifu Dihuang Decoction to treat various diseases, because according to him,＂ in treating deficiency syndrome, cultivate the root first ＂. Zhai Qingyun was born in a poor family and never studied in a old-style private school,but he was diligent,inquisitive, read extensively and deeply studied the medical books. For forty years＇ being a doctor, he had saved innumerable patients and benefited the people with noble medical ethics. From treating disease, rescuing patients to writing books, he had made contributions his lifelong painstaking efforts and energy＇ to the local people and the inherence of Chinese medicine. His attitudes of seeking the truth in study, absolute sincerity in being a doctor and deeds of benefiting the mankind are worthy of respecting and learning by us.
