生产性服务业集聚对出口产品质量的影响分析——基于我国275个地级城市的证据

Can the Agglomeration of Producer Services Improve the Export Product Quality?——Evidence from 275 Cities of China

在企业产品质量异质性模型的基础上,从生产性服务业专业化和多样化集聚的角度,阐述了生产性服务业集聚影响出口产品质量的机理。在此基础上,利用2007～2011年中国海关数据对275个地级城市的出口产品质量进行了测算,并实证检验了专业化集聚、多样化集聚对出口产品质量的影响。结果表明：在全国样本内,生产性服务业专业化集聚与出口产品质量间存在＂U型＂的非线性关系且当期的专业化集聚对出口产品质量是负向影响,多样化集聚则有利于出口产品质量的提升。分地区分析中,专业化集聚对不同地区出口产品质量的影响不同,多样化集聚则均是促进作用。

On the basis of firm product quality heterogeneity model and combining the theory of specialization and diversification of producer services agglomeration, this paper explains the mechanism of the effect that the agglomeration of producer services has on export product quality. And then this paper measures 275 cities＇ product quality with the data of China Custom from 2007 to 2011 and empirically analyzes the effect of producer services agglomeration on export product quality. The results show that there is a U-shape relationship between the specialization of producer services agglomeration and export product quality in all samples, and the current specialization agglomeration has a negative effect on export product quality. Diversification of agglomeration is conducive to the upgrade of export product quality. In different areas, the effect of specialization agglomeration on the export product quality is different, but the effect of diversification agglomeration is always positive in all areas.
