Cancer-related anemia is a frequently-occurred complication of cancer, the commonly-practiced treatment of which is blood transfusion or the use of human recombinant erythropoietin. However, for anemia patients who are erythropoietin- resistant there is no appropriate drug recommend in anemia guidelines. TCM method of tonifying Spleen and Kidney function to nourish Qi and Blood is a safe and effective in treatment of cancer-related anemia. This treatment can improve the condition of erythropoietin resistance,which is a useful attempt to provide better clinical treatment of cancer-related anemia.
