摘要
文章对高职学生英语学习动机的现状及主要因素进行多层次的调查、实验与分析。研究结果显示,高职学生英语学习中的负动机远大于正动机,各因素对学生的学习动机有不同程度的影响,其中学生因素影响最大。在高职英语教学中,教师可促使学生的英语学习负动机转为正动机。教师应从内、外因入手,采用多种策略激发学生的英语学习动机,从而提高学生的英语学习效果,实现英语学习目标。
In this paper,the author attempted a multilevel investigation,test and analysis on the status quo and the main factors of the motivation of Higher Vocational College students to learn English. The results showed that the influence of negative motivations outweighs that of positive ones in Higher Vocational College students learning English. Among the various factors that exert an influence on the learning motivation of students,the factor of the learner himself is most influential. Nevertheless,teachers can help transforming the negative motivations of students to positive ones in their teaching. They should adopt different strategies to stimulate student’s motivation internally and externally to learn English so as to improve the learning outcome and achieve the goals of learning English.
