摘要
福多的思想语言假设主张,思维过程以类语言的媒介进行处理。通过对这一假设的分析可知,思想语言符号的实质是不可分的概念原子表征,而概念原子是先天的,它依赖于三个不尽人意的反学习论证:(1)概念学习是循环;(2)经验触发是偶然;(3)学习模板并非获得概念。本文将对福多的"先天性"内涵与反学习论证进行批判性考察,通过"数据库"隐喻分析,最后得出结论,要容纳"先天性"与"学习",必须对学习与获得进行区分;且概念必须是可学习重塑的分子。
Jerry Fodor's Language of Thought Hypothesis advocates that the thinking processes in language-like vehicle. Based on analysis in this assumption,this paper points out that the symbols of Language of Thought is undecomposable conceptual atomic representation in essence,and that conceptual atom is innate,which depends on three less than satisfactory anti-learning arguments:( 1) learning concepts are a circulation;( 2) empirical trigger is occasional;( 3) learning stereotype is not the same thing as concept acquisition. After critical research on the connotation of Fodor's Innateness and anti-learning argument,this paper will analyze the metaphor of database and finally conclude that,in order to accommodate Innateness with Learning,it is necessary to distinguish Learning from Acquisition,and concepts have to be learned and remolded molecules.
