An introduction of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons guideline for definitive management of primary hyperparathyroidism(2016 AAES)

近30年来,随着常规血清钙检测的开展,无症状原发性甲状旁腺功能亢进症(PHPT)的患病率明显增高。美国内分泌外科医师协会于2016年组织制订并发布了《原发性甲状旁腺功能亢进症管理指南》,为甲状旁腺手术的相关问题提供安全、有效、可靠的循证支持。该指南对PHPT的流行病学特征、发病机制、手术适应证、术前和术中处理、疗效评估、并发症管理及后续手术等多方面做了详尽说明。

Primary hyperthyroidism （PHPT） diagnosis significantly increased with the conventional calcium detection in the past 30 years. The new guideline for the definitive management of PHPT from the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons （AAES） published in 2016 is a welcome addition to the literature, especially because they are written for the practicing surgeon. This guideline made detailed description on diagnosis and evaluafi^n, epidemiology and pathogenesis, indications and outcomes of intervention, preoperative and intraoperative management, surgical adjuncts and so on.
