摘要
华南理工大学"高校IBM大型主机科普基地"的建设,填补了国内外在大型主机科普教育领域的空白,也是华南理工大学参与科普实践工作的一次崭新尝试。基地依托高校丰富的软硬件资源与主机教学科研经验丰富的师资队伍,面向公众,特别是青少年展开大型主机科普教育工作。本文介绍了基地的优势与特色,并从科普内容、科普师资队伍建设、科普手段、科普实践方式四个方面深入探讨基地的创新实践,最后分析总结在科普实践过程中的经验启示、存在问题与提升方向,为大型主机及计算机学科的科普教育提供有益借鉴。
The construction of IBM mainframe science base in academy is not only filling the gaps in the domestic and foreign mainframe science popularization, but also a new attempt to participate in the work of science popularization for South China University of Technology(SCUT). Relying on SCUT's rich software,hardware resources,and experiences in mainframe related research, the science base launches mainframe science popularization work for the public, especially young people in China. Advantages and characteristics of the science base are introduced;the innovative practices of science base are deeply discussed from four aspects: the content of science education, talents team, science instruments and practice methods;experience enlightenment,typical problems and the direction of improvements are also explored. All this can provide references for science popularization in mainframe and computer discipline.
