Experience of Professor Yang Zhi Xiu in Treating Idiopathic Interstitial Pneumonias

杨质秀教授认为特发性间质性肺炎病情复杂,属本虚标实之证,应分期论治,将本病分为早期,中期和晚期。早期以邪实为主,风邪犯肺居多;中期虚实夹杂,痰瘀互结为主;晚期肺脾肾俱虚。故临床治疗上早期宜疏风宣肺止咳,中期宜化痰消瘀。

Professor Yang Zhixiu considered that idiopathic interstitial pneumonias are the disease with complex pathogenesis,asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality. It should be treated based on different period, and the disease is divided into early stage, mid-term and later period. Pathogenic wind impairing lung is mostly on the early stage, so we should dispel wind pathogens for arresting cough. In the mid-term, the phlegm and blood stasis obstructing lung, we can dissipate phlegm and eliminate blood stasis.However, on the later period, it is deficiency of the spleen, lung and kidney, and we should incigorate the lung, spleen and strengthen the kidney.
