Paper-cut for window decoration is the significant means that intelligent Chinese use to decorate their houses. Especially in Hebei area, it is considered as a form of traditional architectural ornament art with a long history and unique region point. This paper focuses on the paper-cut for window decoration in Hebei area, the classification study and its artistic features are based on its function, decorative form and coloring process with the hope of protecting and inheriting folk art.
