摘要 伴随着高等教育管理体制改革的推进,作为办学实体的高校二级学院的地位进一步凸显,学院人才培养、科学研究、社会服务的职能得到进一步增强。作为学院实际领导者的院长,在学术工作、行政工作中起着举足轻重的作用,学术权力与行政权力由此成为学院院长拥有的主要权力类型。学院院长权力的多重性决定了院长角色的多样性。学院院长必须内外兼修,提高自身素养;同时也要协调好自身各种权力之间的关系,担当好行政领导与学术领导的双重角色。 The advance of reform in higher education management system has highlighted the status of the subordinate colleges which embodies the entity of universities management. The functions of subordinate colleges including talent cultivation, scientific research and community service have been further enhanced. The dean, as the de facto leader of the subordinate college, plays a decisive role in both academic research and administration. Therefore, the academic power and administrative power become the main types of power of the dean. The multiplicity of dean's power determines the diversity of the dean's role. The dean should get refined internally and externally for further improvement, and at the same time strike a balance among various power types so as to be competent for the dual role of administrative and academic leadership.
