In the reform of police teaching methods, case teaching method is paid more and more attention. Case teaching method can acquire knowledge, develop competence and promote quality through applying scientific means, which applied positivist and creativity to classroom so that the educated can understand teaching target definitely. In recent years, the case learning has become more and more popular in policing teaching. Case learning of the students in Police College has its unique characteristics and demands. Case teaching in class affords a new train of thought for policing investigation from traditional teaching methods. The case teaching can help the teachers to teach. Method of case teaching can afford the greatest delight and vividness, arouse students＇ enthusiasm for study in classroom, it can also make students acquire knowledge and develop capacity.？At present, the case teaching method is widely used in the reform of the police education of our institutions of higher learning, and even regarded as a breakthrough point in the police education. Though the case teaching method is indeed highly effective in training high-quality practical personnel, there are still some problems existing in teaching practice which require that teachers should clear up their vague understanding and free themselves from mistaken ideas.
