The paper takes underground mining where the operation is the most risky and accidents frequently take place as the research subject,analyzes the characteristics of underground mining and types of accidents,taking into account related safety laws and regulations,systematically summarizes factors influencing the safety of personnel,management,environment,equipment,production techniques and safety techniques based on accident causation theory,and constructs the underground mining operation system in gold mines and the relations that connect them.
