模因论视角下《黄帝内经·素问》隐喻翻译研究

The research of metaphor translation in Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine from the perspectives of memetics

隐喻是中医文化的基础,《黄帝内经》作为一本经典中医论著,蕴含大量朴素而又生动的隐喻。隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段,更是对世界的一种思维模式和认知方式,准确翻译《黄帝内经》中的隐喻,对于中医文化对外输出起着举足轻重的作用。为了更好地探讨和研究隐喻的翻译过程,本文采用一种新的文化传播理论——模因论分析李照国先生和Veith先生的《黄帝内经》英译本,旨在发现不同社会和文化背景下的译者在翻译过程中各自母语模因对隐喻翻译的影响和作用,以期促进隐喻模因的有效传播,促进中医文化在海外的进一步发展。

There are a lot of plain yet vivid metaphors in Yellow Emperor＇s Canon of Medicine, a classical TCM work. Metaphor is not only a rhetorical device, but also a thinking pattern and cognitive style. Accurate translation of the metaphors in Yellow Emperor＇s Canon of Medicine plays a significant role in the transmission of TCM culture. In order to better study and research the process of metaphor translation, this paper employs a new kind of cultural transmission theoty-memetics to analyze Zhaoguo Li＇s and Veith＇s English versions with the hope of facilitating the transmission of TCM metaphorical memes and the development of TCM culture abroad.
