汉诗英译中典故的翻译方法

汉语诗歌的翻译已是不易,而汉语诗歌中常用的典故的翻译尤为不易。典故的文字虽然简洁凝练,但却包含着丰富的内容,蕴含着深刻的寓意和文化内涵。翻译典故时,首先要探寻清楚其文化渊源,然后理解其文化内涵。在此基础上,采用恰当的翻译方法,灵活地翻译,在译入语读者可接受的范围内,向译入语读者传播汉语文化。

Chinese poem is a unique literature form in Chinese treasure house of literature. It is not easy to translate Chinese poems into English. In translating Chinese poems, translation of allusions is one of the most difficult part because allusions are full of stories and meanings and cultural contents. When translating allusions,at first,the translator must find out the related information about the allusion such as the origin and the content,the historical background and try to understand the cultural contents. Then proper translating methods can be adopted flexibly to transfer Chinese culture to the target language readers within their acceptable scope.
