On the Argument between Patriotism and Global Justice

全球正义理论是当代政治哲学中的一种重要理论。全球正义理论的诸多内容,尤其是其所秉承的世界主义理念,招致了不少爱国主义者的批判。爱国主义者认为,全球正义理论漠视了人们对同胞所负有的特殊义务,全球层面上并不存在那种类似于国家层面的社会合作,全球正义是难以实现的。实际上,爱国主义者对全球正义理论的批判在很多方面值得商榷,全球正义理论能够容纳爱国主义的上述批判,为爱国主义提供了一种约束边界。

The theory of global justice is an important theory in contemporary political philosophy. Many elements of the theory of global justice, especially the idea of cosmopolitanism as its consistent proposal, have aroused criticism from many patriots. According to these patriots, the global justice theory ignores the special obligations of the people to their com- patriots. There is no social cooperation at the global level which is similar to the national level. Global justice is difficult to achieve. In fact ,the patriots＇ critique of global justice theory is debatable in many ways. The global justice theory can accom- modate the above-mentioned criticism from patriots,and can provide a constraining boundary for patriotism.
