多元文化语境中语言变体的社会语言学意义被引量：3

摘要社会语言学的重要任务是描述语言和社会结构的"共变",其基本出发点是研究社会诸因素与语言的关系,从社会角度探索语言和社会共变的方式和规律,揭示语言的社会本质和差异。多元文化语境中"新英语"语言变体具有诸多特点。根据Kachru(1985)的英语世界化理论和Ooi的同心圈模式,可以探寻多元文化语境中"新英语"语言变体的成因。认识"新英语"语言变体特点,有助于深刻理解语言社会本质和文化特色,并增强语言习得与应用价值。
