“一带一路”背景下西北地区市场分割与经济协调发展分析

The Analysis of the Impact Which the Market Segmentation Makes on the Coordinated Economic Development in the Northwest

丝绸之路经济带的建设是西北地区破除市场分割、实现经济协调发展的重要历史契机,本文在归纳已有市场分割与经济增长相关文献的基础上,利用西北五省30个地级市2005-2013年的经济数据,经过实证检验发现西北地区市场分割的存在整体上对经济协调发展产生了负面影响,且市场分割程度越深,则经济差异扩大越甚。非省会城市则出现市场分割程度越高,则地区经济收敛越快的情况。另外,实证中还发现,西北地区经济不存在β收敛,且省会城市并没有起到带动经济协调发展的作用。

Economic Coordinated development is important for reducing economic disparities,and poverty eradication and more important for the northwest where economy level is relatively backward. Therefore,the paper through the empirical tests found market segmentation has a negative impact on economic coordinated development on the whole,and the deeper the degree of market segmentation,economic disparities widen even more based on summarizing the existing literature on market segmentation and economic gap. Besides the higher the degree of market segmentation,the faster the regional economic convergence, among the non-capital city. In addition,empirical test also found there is no β convergence in the Northwest economic and the capital cities do not play a leading role in the coordination of economic development.
