摘要
翻译界开始引入心理学的实证研究方法,尝试对译者翻译整个过程进行描述。研究者们还开展跨学科合作,开发出诸如Translog的先进技术工具,来获取各译者群体的数据。大学英语学习者群体庞大,对其翻译过程进行描述分析价值极高。按照《大学英语课程教学要求》中将学习者翻译过程要求进行分类,对Translog搜集的翻译过程数据,从翻译速度和翻译技巧出发进行分析。研究发现大学英语二年级学习者的翻译速度都能达到一般要求,但包括译前构思和译后修改在内的翻译技巧较为欠缺。他们不能从整体文本出发观照,且译后修改用时少、修改层次低。因此在翻译教学中须培育学习者的翻译宏观意识,加强翻译修改指导,提高修改质量,以最终提高非英语专业学习者的翻译能力。
With the introduction of psychological research technique into translation,researchers attempt to describe the translation process. Researchers have also developed such advanced technological tool as Translog for data collection and analysis which is of great value to the vast number of English learners at college. College English Curriculum requires non-English majors to translate both speedily and skillfully. The data collection and analysis on the translation process of sophomores from the technological tool of Translog indicate that students do better in translation speed than in skill. Therefore,it is suggested that instructors cultivate their macroscopic sense and provide corresponding advice in revision with personalized data.
