The Metaphor of Fragrance in Tang Poetry and Its Aesthetic Value

"香"是自然造化的美的凝聚,在唐代备受文人雅士的喜爱。他们借助隐喻抒写了"香"的各种美,抒发人类爱美的天性。今天,我们重读《全唐诗》的"香"诗,并透过隐喻这个窗口,分析嗅觉"香"所具有的美学特征,深刻感受"香"之隐喻的美学内涵,切实地领悟唐诗香之隐喻的审美功能和审美表达,从实践与理论上提高美育发现美、感受美、欣赏美的各种能力。

Fragrance is the condensation of natural beauty, firmly loved by literati in the Tang Dynasty. By using the metaphor, they express the various charms of fragrance and the human nature of loving beauty. This paper attempts to re-read the ＂fragrant＂ poems in the Tang Dynasty from the perspective of metaphor and to analyze the metaphorical aesthetic features of fragrance, with the aim to comprehend their aesthetic connotations, to further understand the aesthetic function and expression of ＂fragrance＂ metaphor in the Tang Poems, and to enhanee the theoretical and practical aesthetie education to improve every ability of finding, comprehending and appreciating beauty.
