骆越国与南越国关系探析

AN APPROACH TO THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE LUOYUE STATE AND THE NANYUE STATE

骆越国雄踞于南越国的西南部。南越国对骆越国的统治是松散的,骆越国有较强的独立性,骆越国是南越国的国中之国。南越国推行"和辑百越"的民族政策,汉人入乡随俗,鼓励汉越通婚,对越俗革陋鼎新,吸收越人参政,允许越人自治,融洽了民族关系。骆越国在先秦时期呈现明显的骆越文化特征,但在南越国时期,由于汉越文化涵化,汉文化元素增多。

The Luoyue state located to the southwest part of the Nanyue state and was under the loose control of the latter and in a state of independence. Under this particular circumstance, the Nanyue state implemented a harmonizing policy to get together with hundreds of the Yue ethnic groups. It encouraged the Han to follow the Yue custom and the intergroup marriage between the Han and the Yue. It abolished some corrupt customs of the Yue and absorbed the Yue people to participate affairs of the state. The Yue people were allowed to enjoy autonomy. The relation between the Han and the Yue was harmonious. Seen from the angle of cultural characteristics, the Luoyue state presented obvious cultural features in the pre-Qin period, however, it showed more Han cultural elements in the period ruling by the Nanyue state because of the acculturation of the Han and the Yue.
