Two Kinds of Causal-Historical Theory of Naming Based on Different Philosophy Perspective

克里普克和普特南都是历史因果命名理论的创建者。长期以来,他们的理论被许多哲学家不加区别地看做是同一理论的两个版本。但事实上,他们的理论在研究背景、理论基础、理论预设、理论侧重点,以及对本质、必然性、可能状态的看法等方面都存在着区别,而这主要源于他们的研究旨趣和构建名称理论时的哲学立场不同:作为逻辑学家的克里普克试图通过本质主义去建构一个柏拉图式的理念世界,而作为科学哲学家的普特南更倾向对物理世界的认识,希冀像亚里士多德一样从理念世界走向实际世界。

Saul Kripke and Hilary Putnam proposed an significant and profound theory of name-The CausalHistorical Theory of Naming-almost at the same time.Their theories are supposed as identical by most of the philosophers for a long time,but this viewpoint is difficult to be agreed with.Between their theories there are differences that cannot be ignored,among them are the research background,the theoretical presupposition,the opinion of essence,the viewpoint of possible world,and the viewpoint of necessity,though there are some similarities between their theories,all of these are originated the difference of their research interests and the philosophical stance when the construct the naming theory.
