编辑素质的高低与学术期刊的学术质量有着密切的联系。当前,青年编辑在编辑队伍中占有很大的比例,因此提高青年编辑的素质是确保学术期刊质量的根本保证。青年编辑除了应加强对编辑工作的敬业精神和献身精神以及坚定的思想政治修养等基本素质培养外,更应加强与编辑对象相关的专业知识的学习,加强对编辑出版专业知识的学习和积累,加强对文字的鉴别和驾驭能力,加强与人沟通和社交能力,提高计算机的操作水平和英语水平等相关方面的素质培养。

The quality of editors is closely related to journal quality. Since young editors, nowadays, occupy a large proportion among most of the journals＇ staff, whose inner quality is the crux of enhancing journal quality. Young editors, first of all, are required to strengthen their fundamental qualities, which include professionalism and commitment to editing, they are also needed to improve and fulfill themselves from the perspective of politics and ideology, editing-related expertise, English and literature, culture, social skills, computer literacy as well as coordination and organization ability.
