摘要
随着社会的进步和发展,女性高管在企业高管层中的比例大幅度提高。通过运用2014年中国文化创意产业202家上市公司数据,研究文化创意产业女性高管与履行企业责任之间的关系,可分析女性高管在企业履行社会责任中的影响力。企业高管人员中女性的存在对企业承担和履行社会责任能够产生重要影响,女性高管的特征要素如女性高管的比例、受教育程度和管理经验等对企业履行社会责任有不同程度的影响力。对Facebook履行企业社会责任的案例分析,验证了女性高管对企业履行社会责任能产生重要影响。
Social development has witnessed the increase of female executives among corporate senior managers. Based on data of 202 listed companies from China’s creative culture industry in 2014, this paper explores the relation between female executives and corporate social responsibility and analyzes how female executives could influence the fulfilling of that obligation. The influence of female executives’ characteristics on corporate social responsibility ( CSR) is also evaluated. It turns out that female executives are playing an important role in company5s decision of CSR. Some basic elements related to female executives, such as the proportion of female executives, education background and management experience, also have diverse impact on company’s strategic decision on CSR. Facebook is exemplified here as a case study to prove the significant impact of female executives on fulfilling corporate social responsibilities.
