On the Concept of "Evil Spirit" in the Literature of the Tang Dynasty

魅观念源远流长,在唐代文学作品中有大量的魅故事,这些作品刻画的魅生动活泼。在唐代文学中以谏书和诗文最具代表,谏书所引"魑魅"常常用来表达一种对谏阻对象、不满、敌视情绪。诗文中的"魑魅"含义丰富,是鬼、是怪、是人、更是情。

The concept of ＂Evil Spirit＂ has a long history and the literary works in the Tang Dynasty contain a lot of the stories of ＂evil spirits＂, which depict ＂evil spirits＂ very vividly and charmingly. In the literature of the Tang Dynasty, the remonstrances and poems are the most typical of ＂demons＂; and the ＂demons＂ are often mentioned or cited to express advice,resentment, or hostility. The poetry of the Tang Dynasty is rich in meaning via ＂demons＂, which are apparently ghosts or monsters and actually contain humanity traits, reflecting the most about love.
