摘要
鸡为五德之禽,梅山地区鸡俗事象丰富,表现在婚嫁、生育、巫治、丧葬、饮食、节庆、神判、营造等方面,这些习俗源于梅山先人的太阳崇拜、生殖崇拜和求吉避凶信仰,是文化旅游开发的宝贵资源。
Rooster is a symbol of five virtues. In Meishan region,the rooster custom is seen in every aspect of life-marriage,reproduction,sorcery,diet,festival,funeral,divine judgment,and architecture. Originated from the original worship of the sun and fertility and people＇s pursuit of luck by expelling evil spirits,the rooster custom in Meishan Region is an important part of the cultural tourism that deserves further development.
