摘要
台湾作家白先勇与朱天文先后在他们的作品中书写了特定时空中新旧两代台北人的生存状态和情感体验。白先勇《永远的尹雪艳》塑造了一个具有颠覆意义的舞女形象尹雪艳,同样,朱天文《世纪末的华丽》中女模特儿米亚的形象也令人印象深刻。时隔25年的两篇小说,不约而同呈现出一种对现代性的审视与观照,创作于台湾后工业化时期的作品《世纪末的华丽》相比白先勇的《永远的尹雪艳》更是融入了对于后现代性的批判与反思。
Taiwan Residents writers Bai Xianyong and Zhu Tianwen have both written about the life and the emotional experience of the old and new generations of Taibeiness in a specific area at a certain time. In The Eternal Snow Beauty,Bai Xianyong created the character of a dancing girl named Yin Xueyan,a radically new female image. And Zhu Tianwen in her Fin-de-siècle Splendour built the character of an impressive model named Mia. Although Fin-de-siècle Splendour came out 25 years after The Eternal Snow Beauty,the two books presented the writers' examination of modernity as if by prior agreement. Written in the post-industrial Taiwan,Finde-siècle Splendour presented Zhu's criticism and reflection on the post-modernity,which was a step forward from Bai's thinking.
