马尔克斯的《百年孤独》体现出深重的原罪思想。这部旷世之作不仅表现了原罪的多种存在方式及产生原因,也向我们传达了寻找失落的精神家园的主旨。在《百年孤独》中,基督教文化的原罪不仅具有全家族性而且还是整个马贡多社会的缩影,无论是人自身还是社会整体,"原罪",都是难逃的宿命。而人与社会怎样超越原罪的纠缠,并选择灵魂的重生是这部小说所要传达的主题。

A profound thinking about the original sin is presented in One Hundred Years of Solitude. Márquez showed in this unique work the original sin in various forms,explained why they existed,and expressed the motif of people＇s seeking for the lost spiritual home. As an important part of Christian tradition,the original sin is found not only in the Buendía family,but also in the entire society of Macondo,and both individuals and the society are doomed to suffer because of their original sin. One of the themes of this novel is how the individuals and the society fight to get rid of their original sin for a rebirth of their soul.
