It was created by the local people and enjoyed by them as their mental treasures, representing the spirit of generations. In recent years, with the changes of people＇s life style, Yulei Festive Lantern Opera, as a typical local opera, is on the verge of disappearing. In order to protect and inherit this special sort of art, the local government encourages its residents to create typical script and aria, thus improving the performance and making this sort of opera survive.
